The Fraternal Order of Police Frank Clement Lodge #38 will proudly observe Police Memorial Week beginning on Sunday May 10th thru Saturday May16th. A special ceremony will take place on the lawn of the Cumberland County Amphitheater on Thursday May 14th at 11:00am to pay tribute to those officers that have given the ultimate sacrifice.
Police Week was enacted by President John F Kennedy in 1963 to
proclaim the week of May 15th of each year to be set aside as Police Officers Memorial Week across the United States. Each year Officers, family members loved ones gather together during this week to honor those who serve and those that have given it all to protect and serve the communities across the United States.
The public is invited to attend this special Memorial Service.
