A broken taillight led to the arrest of a Monroe County escapee. Crossville Police conducted a stop of the vehicle on Lantana Road in front of On The Way Mart and discovered that the driver, 34-year-old Erick Ross Ramey, of Sweetwater, was wanted for Escape and Extortion in Monroe County. Ramey was transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center and placed on hold for those charges.
