Man Almost Run Over While Mowing Yard in Mayland

A Mayland Road man said he was almost run over while mowing his yard Monday afternoon when a rusty brown pickup truck came flying through his yard and took out his fence and posts.  The vehicle lost a headlight in the yard, which appears to be from a 1990’s Chevrolet truck.  The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office reports damage to the fence was estimated at $500.  The suspect was not identified in the police report.
