The Cumberland County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is sponsoring a Stewardship Poster Contest. The theme for this year’s contest is “Soil. Where It All Begins”. The theme encourages citizens, schools and communities to think about how important “Soil” is because everything starts with healthy soil.
The contest is open to any Cumberland County students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Cash prizes will be awarded to the local winners. Awards will be presented at the SWCD’s Annual Awards Dinner in October. The winner in each category will be submitted to the Tennessee Association of Conservation District’s State Contest. The deadline to submit posters to the SWCD Office is September 28, 2026.
