The Fairfield Glade Volunteer Fire Department needs your donations for equipment and operations.
The FGFD’s annual operating budget exceeds $175,000. That covers expenses such as fuel, insurance, phone service, electricity, and vehicle maintenance. The Fire Department also needs funds to maintain and eventually replace aging vehicles and equipment.
The Fire Department receives no tax revenue and operating costs are funded primarily by a $165,000 donation from the Fairfield Glade Community Club, along with sponsorships and proceeds from fundraising events such as pancake breakfasts.
After operating expenses, very little remains for capital needs.
The FGFD is a registered 501(c)(3) and your donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
