The body of a Rhea County teenager has been recovered from Watts Bar Lake. Authorities responded to the call of a missing swimmer around 6:30pm Monday after 19-year-old Madison Taylor reportedly left a boat to swim and never resurfaced. Her body was found near the dam early Tuesday morning (5/31/2022) and has been sent to the Rhea County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Madison Taylor is the sister of former American Idol Contestant and Spring City native Drake McCain Taylor.
