A Putnam County man is due in court this March for Sexual Exploitation Of A Minor. In March of 2022, Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the office lobby to meet with the former girlfriend of Mark Allen Jones in reference to her finding potential explicit photographs of minors on Jone’s phone. During his investigation, Detective Brian Haworth found Jones to be in possession of explicit photographs across multiple phones, several of which appeared to be of underage individuals and several of those to be confirmed to be minors. On January 30, 2023, Detective Brian Haworth received a True Bill from the Putnam County Criminal Court Grand Jury for Mark Allen Jones, who was arrested and served with an indictment for Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
