A truck driver died Friday after crashing on I-40 East in Roane County. The THP says 37-year-old Charles Isabell was driving a tractor-trailer when his truck ran off the road near the 343 exit. The truck reentered the road and was struck by another vehicle as the semi traveled across both lanes and hit a rock embankment. Isabell was killed in the crash. The driver of the other vehicle was reportedly not injured.
