The Opening Ceremony for the 2nd Annual Field of Honor® will begin at 2pm on Sunday, November 5 at Garrison Park in Crossville. Cumberland County Sheriff Casey Cox is the Master of Ceremonies and Cumberland County Vietnam Veterans Chapter 1015 will provide the color guard. Veteran Chaplain Jerry Brownstead will offer the Invocation. The Cumberland County High School Band and Mother Legacy will perform and guest speakers include Senator Paul Bailey and Tim French. There will be a cannon salute by Schoolfields Battery CS/6th Ohio Light Infantry. The Annual Field of Honor® will be held November 5-11, 2023. The event is free and everyone is invited to walk among the rows to view 700 American flags that each represents an individual and tells their story.
