Crossville Police responded to City Cemetery just before noon on Saturday (11/4/2023) where they discovered a gray Ford had driven over several headstones. Scott Andrew Godsey, age 53, reportedly said he had pulled over at the cemetery because he was about to fall asleep. After a field sobriety test and vehicle search, Mr. Godsey was taken to the Cumberland County Jail and charged with Driving Under the Influence, Driving on Suspended, Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
