A father and daughter from Knoxville are dead after their single-engine Beechcraft airplane crashed Thursday morning in Giles County. James Blalock and his daughter Jenny took off from Downtown Island Home Airport in Knoxville and were headed for the airport in Pulaski. The crash happened just after 11 a.m. Central time near the Marshall County line. The plane is registered to Plantation Reclaimed Incorporated, a reclaimed wood business located in Knoxville according to the company’s website. The Blalocks were the only people on the plane.
