A teenage boy drowned at the North Chick Blue Hole located off Montlake Road in Soddy-Daisy. The Mowbray Volunteer Fire Department swiftwater team responded to the call Tuesday evening along with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, EMS, and Tennessee State Park Rangers. The deceased was reportedly with friends when he jumped from a rock and was unable to swim.
