More Than 5300 Vote Early in Cumberland County As of Thursday, October 17, 2024

The first two days of early voting saw long lines out the door and along the street at the Cumberland County Election Commission. Administrator of Elections Jill Davis reported Thursday evening that 5,346 people have cast their ballots including absentee, nursing home and early voting. On Thursday 2,042 people voted in person; that number was 2,101 on Wednesday.

Across Tennessee,  216,446 voted early on Wednesday. That’s over 48,000 fewer votes than were cast on the first day of early voting in 2020.

Early voting for the November 5th State and Federal General Election continues through Thursday, October 31st.  Eligible voters in Cumberland County may cast their ballots early at the Election Commission at 83 Northside Lane in Crossville, weekdays from 8am to 5pm, and 8am to Noon on Saturdays.

Those voting on November 5th must do so at their designated precinct.
