Construction will begin soon on a new fire station in Crossville to be located at Interstate Drive and Cottonpatch Drive. Fire Station 2 will replace the current station on Industrial Boulevard. The project will cost a little under $3.55 million with the winning bid going to King Construction of Cookeville. Crossville Fire Chief Chris South said the new location will allow more efficient service to the community. Completion is expected sometime in late 2025.
