This prestigious award recognizes his exceptional dedication and impactful service across a region that comprises 28 Sheriff’s Offices and 52 Police Departments.
The Sheriff’s Office says Deputy Fields exemplifies what it means to serve and protect. His remarkable work ethic and life-saving actions on October 23, 2024, when he intervened to prevent an elderly woman from taking her own life, highlight his commitment to the community. This act of bravery is just one of many ways he has made a positive difference in the lives of Cumberland County residents.
