It was a rough Senior Day for Tennessee as the Lady Vols were upset by the Georgia Bulldogs 72-69. Tennessee trailed most of the game starting the contest behind 18-2. The Lady Vols didn’t see the lead until midway through the 4th 58-57. They were able to stretch that lead to 60-57 but that would be it as the Bulldogs would go back ahead.
The leading scorer for Tennessee was Jewel Spear with 20 points and Zee Spearman was behind her with 19 points. Samara Spencer was able to rack up 11 points on her last game on Rocky Top. Tennessee had seven seniors play their final game in Knoxville including: Tess Darby, Sara Puckett, Jillian Hollingshed, Jewel Spear, Samara Spencer, Destinee Wells, and Favor Ayodelle.
