Johnson City Man Charged with Attempted Murder, Accused of Shooting Officer

A Johnson City man has been charged after he allegedly shot a police officer Wednesday night.  He has been identified as 55-year-old Timothy D. Blair. Early Thursday morning, agents obtained a warrant for Blair, charging him with Attempted First Degree Murder. He’s being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $250,000 bond.  The injured officer was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
