A former Fort Campbell soldier was sentenced Wednesday to 84 months in prison for conspiring to collect and transmit national defense information, including sensitive, non-public U.S. military information, to an individual he believed was affiliated with the Chinese government.
Former U.S. Army intelligence analyst, Korbein Schultz, age 25, of Wills Point, Texas, pleaded guilty last August.
FBI Director Kash Patel said, “This sentencing is a stark warning to those who betray our country: you will pay a steep price for it.”
