Monterey Man Drowns While Loading Boat in Meigs County Sunday

A Monterey man drowned Sunday afternoon while loading a boat at Chickamauga Lake in Meigs County.

First responders found 21-year-old Austin Sigh’s body in less than 10 feet of water.

This is the fifth fatality on Tennessee’s waterways this year.
