Two people are dead and one injured after a shooting in a Columbia, Tennessee neighborhood. It happened around 3pm Saturday.
Authorities say 46-year-old John Bidle died at the scene and 51-year-old Stacie Wright died during surgery at Vanderbilt Medical Center. A third victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The offender, a forty-six-year-old male, was taken into custody at the scene and is being charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder. Teh Columbia Police Department says Investigators are still processing the scene, conducting interviews and combing through information. Other charges are likely at the conclusion of this investigation.
