Crossville PD Reports Successful Sobriety Checkpoint at Rhea/Roane County Line

The Crossville Police Department along with other law enforcement agencies reported another successful Sobriety Checkpoint last Friday night (5/30/2025) at the Rhea/Roane County line.  Authorities did not immediately release information on how many vehicles were stopped or any violations found.

On Friday, June 6 the Tennessee Highway Patrol has scheduled a Sobriety Checkpoint in Putnam County on State Route 135 North,  .2 miles north of State Route 290.

Also this Friday, a THP Sobriety Checkpoint will be held in Warren County on South Chancery Street at Chris Lane.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol reminds all motorists to drive sober, avoid distractions, obey speed limits and always wear a seat belt.  (Photo courtesy Crossville PD Facebook.)
