A Cumberland County woman was arrested Friday afternoon after allegedly interfering with animal control officers who were attempting to contain several dogs. Crossville Police Animal Control  was dispatched to 122 Kate’s Korner following reports of several unrestrained dogs. The officer requested backup, citing the presence of five dogs and a confrontational individual identified as 32 year old Elizabeth Lallo. Lallo reportedly grabbed the catch pole as the officer attempted to restrain one of the dogs. When another officer intervened to stop her, he was bitten on the left tricep by another dog, allowing Lallo to flee into the woods with all five dogs. Lallo was later located and charged with obstruction. The dogs were transported to the Cumberland County Humane Society.
