Aaron Summerall, a student from Rockwood, Tennessee, has been selected as one of only 300 Bank of America Student Leaders nationwide, chosen from a competitive pool of more than 12,000 applicants.
As part of the leadership program, Summerall is interning at Wesley House Community Center, where he supports the organization’s Youth Development and Emergent Needs program. The program helps equip teens with leadership skills and hands-on experience in community service.
Summerall’s record of achievement is extensive. He currently serves as the Youth Liaison to the Rockwood Mayor, helped create a Peer Navigating position to support formerly incarcerated individuals, and is the only youth member of the Roane County Opioid Prevention Council.
He was recently elected Central Region Vice President at the HOSA International Leadership Conference, a role that deepens his involvement in health-focused education and outreach. At Wesley House, Summerall has been active in fundraising and youth engagement, developing both confidence and leadership skills through real-world impact.
