Byrdstown Man Charged With Fatally Shooting Wife in Pickett County

A Byrdstown man has been charged with fatally shooting his wife in Pickett County.  It happened Sunday night in the 100 block of Eagle Crest Drive.  Pickett County Sheriff’s deputies found the wife, 72-year-old Theresa Foutch, inside the home with a gunshot wound. She later died at the scene. The TBI arrested and charged her husband, 71-year-old Johnny Foutch, with one count of 1^st Degree Murder.  He was booked into the Pickett County Jail where he was being held without bond.
