A camouflaged Honda side-by-side stolen from a field on Yellow Cliff Creek Road was recovered shortly after the theft, though a weed eater stored inside the vehicle remains missing. According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call around 5 am Monday morning to a residence on Yellow Cliff Creek Road to investigate reports of a stolen side by side. Deputies searched the area and located the abandoned vehicle on a nearby trail. The victim was notified and arrived to retrieve his property. He confirmed that a weed eater left inside the side-by-side was no longer there. Also found on the trail was a black backpack containing a clown mask, a tactical vest, several knives, and binoculars. No arrests have been made and there are no confirmed suspects at this time.
