The Tennessee Lady Volunteers basketball program has released their Non-Conference schedule from the 2025-26 season.
The blue blood program will be no stranger to tough competition this year facing 9 teams that made last years NCAA Tournament and 4 Top 25 teams. In total including the SEC schedule the Lady Vols will play the top six ranked teams and 10 of the top 20 ranked teams.
Kim Caldwell and her Lady Vols will kick things off on November 4th for the “Battle in the ‘Boro” where Tennessee will play #9 North Carolina State in Greensboro, NC. The Lady Vols will then play four straight in-state opponents: ETSU (Nov. 7), UT Martin (Nov. 9), Belmont (Nov 13), and MTSU (Nov 20).
On November 23rd Tennessee welcomes Baltimore school Coppin State to Knoxville. Seven days later UT heads to the City of Angels when they play #3 UCLA led by 6-7 Center Lauren Betts. After their battle with the Bruins Tennessee heads to the middle of California to play Stanford apart of the SEC/ACC Challenge on November 30th.
Only three games scheduled in December: Winthrop (Dec. 14), #17 Louisville in Brooklyn for the Shark Beauty Women’s Champions Classic (Dec. 20), then Southern Indiana (Dec. 22).
Tennessee will wrap up their Non-Conference schedule February 1st as they travel to The Constitution State to play bitter rival #2 UConn. The Lady Vols defeated the defending National Champions last season in Knoxville.
