Two TN Gun Laws Declared Unconstitutional

Two Tennessee gun laws have been declared unconstitutional.  The Gibson County Chancery Court ruled the “intent to go armed” law and “park carry ban”  violate Second Amendment rights. The rulings mean it is now legal to carry a firearm in state or city parks and it is now also legal to carry a gun with or without a permit. Representative Chris Todd wants the Tennessee Attorney General to appeal the ruling because he thinks the appellate court will affirm the decision, which he says would make it a binding precedent in Tennessee and serve as a reference point for similar cases nationwide.
