Eric Brandon Garrison’s case was on the docket Thursday morning (8/28/2025) just for status. Thirteenth Judicial District Attorney General Bryant C. Dunaway said it will be on the General Sessions docket for Thursday, September 4th, also just for status, and there will be no hearing that day. However, DAG Dunaway said next Thursday they will set a date to hold a preliminary hearing. Forty-two-year-old Eric Brandon Garrison has been charged with Second Degree Murder for fatally shooting 63-year-old Albert Sturgill, Jr. on Main Street in Crossville.
