Warren Dean, a familiar Cumberland County radio voice in the 1970s and early 80s has passed away. He was 89. Dean was a partner and manager of WAEW AM and FM. WAEW FM later became WXVL FM and now broadcasts under the call sign of WPBX, a Main Street Media station. Warren Dean was preceded in death by his wife Jessie and a brother, former Crossville Mayor and council member, Earl Dean.
