Roane County Deputy Steven Sanford has been selected as the Correctional Officer of the Quarter. The Sheriff’s Department said, “Deputy Sanford is a hard worker, who puts others before himself and does the jobs that not everyone wants to do. He has worked every shift in the corrections division without complaint or issue. He is an incredible asset to the Roane County Sheriff’s Office, and his humor and attitude are uplifting to anyone who works with him. Deputy Sanford is one of the people that you want in a crisis; He keeps his cool and handles situations efficiently and correctly.
