A pedestrian was fatally struck by a train in Anderson County Thursday night (October 2, 2025). It happened around 10 pm just outside of Rocky Top.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office withheld the individual’s identity pending proper notification of next of kin.
This incident remains under investigation.
