The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office reports 33-year-old Christian Gage Houston and 48-year-old Kenneth Andrew Toebbe, both of Crossville, were arrested Friday morning (October 10, 2025) after they allegedly stole a trailer from a property on Shorty Barnes Road. The owner saw the suspects take the trailer and followed their SUV while calling 911. The suspects pulled into the Budget Blinds parking lot where the victim managed to block their vehicle until deputies arrived. A search of the SUV revealed multiple suspected stolen items and firearms. The vehicle’s registration tag had also been removed. Both men were arrested and taken to the Cumbeland County Sheriff’s Office. Houston was charged with Theft of Property and bond was set at $8,000. Toebbe was charged with Theft (up to $1,000) and placed on a $4,000 bond.
