The Tennessee Volunteers traveled to Tuscaloosa to take on argubally their biggest rival in the Alabama Crimson Tide. Tennessee held steady having the game tied 7-7 but after giving up a safety the Vols wouldn’t recover. Alabama took the 108th playing of the Third Saturday in October 37-20.
Tennessee’s Joey Aguilar threw 268 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception that lead to a pick six. DeSean Bishop was able to rush for 123 yards along with 2 touchdowns. Braylon Staley was the only Vols receiver with a receiving touchdown he led reception yards as well with 92.
