Pikeville Man Charged in Bledsoe County Shooting Incident, One Seriously Injured

The Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Office announces that Breyton Lewis of Pikeville, has been charged in connection with the shooting incident that occurred on Holly Drive on October 30th, 2025.

Through a joint investigation conducted by Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Office Detectives, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA), it was determined that the shooting took place during an illegal hunting incident. The investigation revealed that Lewis discharged a shotgun, striking the victim, who sustained serious injuries, but is in stable condition.

Lewis was arrested on October 30th, 2025 regarding unrelated arrest warrants for drug possession. As a result of the investigation, Breyton Lewis has been charged with Felony Reckless Endangerment Involving Serious Bodily Injury. (Photo courtesy BCSO.)
