Motorists traveling I-40 in Cumberland County Sunday morning (12/21/2025) should be aware of utility work in both directions from mile marker 318 to mile marker 329. The work will be conducted from 6am to 9am, weather contingent. There will be Law Enforcement assisted rolling roadblocks between Exit 322 eastbound and Exit 329 westbound. Message boards, signage, and law enforcement vehicles will be present. Motorists should be aware of personnel and equipment, reduce speed, and be prepared to stop.
