The presence of the emerald ash borer (EAB) has been confirmed in Robertson County.  The invasive beetle, which attacks and kills ash trees, was first detected in the Volunteer State in 2010.  It has since spread to 67 counties in East and Middle Tennessee, including Cumberland.

If you confirm EAB on your property, please report it using the online Report a Pest tool at protecttnforests.org . Reports help track the insect’s movement and prioritize areas in need of additional resources. (Photo courtesy TN Dept. of Ag)
