One person has died in Roane County following a shooting Christmas Eve. Shortly before 10pm deputies responded to a report of a person who had been shot in the area off Firetower Road in Rockwood. Emergency medical personal also responded and pronounced one individual deceased. Police say the incident appears to be isolated and there is no ongoing threat to the public. The Roane County Sheriff’s Office and TBI are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
