A missing elderly DeKalb County man was found safe Monday morning by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. Charles Rush, 82, was reported missing around 2:30am after walking away from his home. During the search, K9 Iris located Mr. Rush’s hat and slide marks leading down to an embankment. Mr. Rush was found at the bottom, alert and not complaining of any injuries.
