Cumberland County Sales Tax Collections are Up, Property Tax Collections Down Slightly

Cumberland County’s January Sales tax collections were over $1.6 million, more than $55,000 above estimated revenue.  Year to date, Mayor Foster reports Cumberland County is ahead of revenue projections by more than $361,000.    Property tax collections are at 91.12 percent, compared to 93.02 percent at this point last year.  Hotel/Motel tax collections stand at $704,873 year to date, versus $726,623 last year.
