The Cumberland County Grand Jury has issued a True Bill of Indictment charging 43-year-old Eric B. Garrison with First Degree Murder in the shooting death of Albert Sturgill. The incident occurred on August 22, 2025 on Main Street in Crossville, Tennessee. Mr. Sturgill later died from his injuries.
Garrison was arrested on April 8, 2026 and is being held in the Cumberland County Jail on a $1.5 million bond. The case is scheduled to appear on the docket in the Cumberland County Criminal Court for arraignment on May 12, 2026. (Photo courtesy DAG Bryant C. Dunaway)
