Cumberland County Reports Brisk Collections for Property Tax

Property tax collections for the county are outpacing last year with collections sitting at almost 99 percent. Also, revenue from state inmates has surpassed budget estimates by taking in over $466,000 so far this year. And tourism dollars dropped slightly from last year. Hotel and motel tax collections are down $15,000 from last year.
