Press Release submitted by Art Circle Public Library Director James L. Houston:

The Fairfield Glade Ladies Club has made a generous donation of $2,000 to the Cumberland County Imagination Library to help continue its mission of inspiring a love of reading and early literacy among young children in Cumberland County.

The contribution from the Fairfield Glade Ladies Club will help provide an age-appropriate book each month to children enrolled in the Imagination Library program from birth to age five. Through the program, children receive books mailed directly to their homes at no cost to their families, helping encourage a lifelong love of reading while supporting kindergarten readiness and early childhood development.

Organizers of the Cumberland County Imagination Library expressed appreciation for the continued support from community organizations and individuals whose generosity helps ensure local children have access to quality books during their earliest and most important years of learning.

The Cumberland County Imagination Library is part of the larger Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program, which provides free books to children in participating communities across the country.

Those seeking more information about the program or wishing to make a tax-deductible donation to the Cumberland County Imagination Library may contact Treasurer James Houston at 931-484-6790 or visit Art Circle Public Library at 3 East Street, Crossville, TN 38555.
