Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Collectible Sports Card Theft, Ask Public for Assistance

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of collectible sports cards and tools from an outbuilding on Gordon Road in Cumberland County.

Investigators believe the theft occurred sometime between the evening hours of Tuesday, April 21, 2026, and Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

Stolen property includes:

  • 1958 and 1959 Mickey Mantle baseball cards
  • Three 1968 Nolan Ryan rookie cards
  • Sports cards stored in protective card cases
  • Two Milwaukee drills
  • Two Milwaukee tool bags

The stolen property is valued at approximately $11,500. Some of the Milwaukee tools were marked with the initials “CS” near the battery area.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to report:

  • Anyone attempting to sell vintage sports cards matching these descriptions
  • Suspicious online sales involving collectible sports cards or Milwaukee tools
  • Anyone in possession of Milwaukee tools marked with the initials “CS”
  • Any suspicious activity observed on or near Gordon Road during the time frame of the theft
