TWRA Investigates Boating Death on Douglas Lake in East Tennessee

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is investigating a boating death on Douglas Lake in East Tennessee.  Shortly before 11am authorities were notified about an unoccupied boat with fishing equipment that was drifting.  Jefferson County Rescue Squad divers found the victim’s body around 3:30pm.  The deceased was not wearing a floatation device. The incident. marks the 9^th boating-related death in Tennessee this year.
