June 26th is the deadline to enter the Cumberland County 4th of July Parade celebrating America’s 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. There is no charge to enter. Parade applications are available at the Military Memorial Museum of the Upper Cumberland, Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm, and at the front desk of the Art Circle Public Library during regular business hours. The Children’s Parade will start at 10am on Saturday, July 4th in front of the Palace Theatre and go to the Depot.
The July 4th Parade will commence from Cumberland County High School at approximately 9:45am and follow the DAR Children’s Parade. The Parade will then continue to First Methodist Church.
