The Cumberland has issued a public safety reminder for parents and guardians.
“Before taking your child to the fair, a festival, ballgame, or any crowded event, take a current photo of them that day.
Make sure the photo clearly shows their face, clothing, shoes, hairstyle, and any identifying items they are wearing.
If you become separated, that photo can be shown immediately to law enforcement, rescue personnel, and event staff. A current photo helps us know exactly who we are looking for and what they are wearing at that moment.
A simple photo before you walk in could save valuable time.
