Friday night saw both high schools on the plateau scoreless in week four of the football season.
Cumberland County’s losing streak extends to four as the Jets drop their game to Kingston 35-0. Stone Memorial was on the road in Baxter to open region play against Upperman. After a hard defensive battle the Bee’s triple threat backfield was too much with Upperman defeating Stone Memorial 21-0.
Cumberland County Jets stay home next Friday (9/18) for a game against Howard Tech. Coverage can be heard on 102.5 WOW Country. That same night the Stone Panthers return home but leave region play as they take on the Loudon Redskins. That game can be heard on MIX 99.3.
