Authorities across the state are on high alert for suspicious vehicles after an RV exploded in Nashville on Christmas morning.  On Sunday morning the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a truck parked at Crossroads Market in Walter Hill that was playing music similar to the song played by the RV in the Nashville bombing. The truck traveled into Wilson County and Highway 231 was shut down near Cedars Of Lebanon State Park. The driver was stopped and detained and a robot was used to search the truck.  No explosive devices were found, however, for unknown reasons, the case remains under investigation.

Also on Sunday, the THP closed down a section of Highway 111 in Sequatchie County after responding to a suspicious vehicle on the side of the road near the Hamilton County line.  After a lengthy search by the THP and Sequatchie County Deputies no explosives were found and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
